Olympic Biathlon

Thursday, we took the 6:00 am shuttle up to the Olympic Park in Whistler. Beautiful scenery. I think I took the most photos here.

This was an extremely long day for us. The women's Biathlon didn't start until 10:20 and the bus ride there took 3 hours. After the women's 15 km, we ate at the food booth there and decided to head back early. The Norwegians won the gold.

I am amazed on how fast one can go cross country skiing. After being lucky enough to watch the sport, I can't wait to try this myself, next season, probably in Tahoe.

Most of the announcing was in French. There were so many people from all over the world carrying their countries flag.

I think the weather forecast, the night before said it was 1 or 4 degrees in Whistler that day.
